CTEI Affiliate Program Policy

1. Program Overview

The CTEI Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring colleagues, peers, and industry professionals to purchase CTEI courses through their unique affiliate link. When a referred customer purchases a CTEI course, the affiliate earns a $25 USD commission per paid enrollment. This program is designed to reward individuals who help expand access to high‑quality clinical trial education while supporting the growth of the CTEI community.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

Anyone may apply to become a CTEI Affiliate by emailing us at [email protected]. Affiliates must create an account on the CTEI platform (cte.institute). CTEI reserves the right to approve or deny affiliate applications at its discretion. Affiliates must comply with all terms in this policy to remain an active participant in the CTEI Affiliate Program.

3. Affiliate Links & Tracking

Each affiliate receives unique referral links generated through Thinkific’s affiliate system. When a prospect clicks an affiliate link, Thinkific places a browser cookie to track the referral. If the prospect signs up and purchases a course while the cookie is active, the affiliate is credited for the sale. Cookies track first‑touch attribution — meaning the first affiliate link clicked is the one credited. Affiliate tracking applies only to purchases made through the Thinkific checkout using Thinkific Payments, Stripe, or PayPal.

4. Commission Structure

Affiliates earn $25 USD per confirmed, paid course enrollment made through their referral link. Commissions apply only to paid courses; free courses or free trials do not generate commissions. If a course is purchased via a subscription or payment plan, commissions apply to the initial payment only. CTEI may exclude certain products or courses from affiliate commissions at any time.

5. Payouts

Thinkific tracks all affiliate commissions, but payouts are processed manually by CTEI. Affiliates must provide valid payment details (e.g., PayPal, others to be added later) in order to receive their affiliate commissions. Payouts are issued monthly for all approved commissions. Minimum payout threshold: $50 USD. Affiliates are responsible for any and all taxes associated with their earnings.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates may not: Misrepresent CTEI, its courses, or its founders. Use spam tactics, unsolicited mass emails, or misleading advertising. Bid on CTEI-branded keywords in paid search campaigns. Create fake accounts or self‑refer to generate commissions. Share affiliate links on coupon sites or discount aggregators without permission. Violations may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

7. Acceptable Promotion Guidelines

Affiliates may: Share their affiliate link with colleagues, professional networks, LinkedIn groups, and industry communities. Publish course reviews, educational content, or personal recommendations. Use CTEI-approved branding assets when provided. Affiliates must ensure all promotional content is accurate, professional, and aligned with CTEI’s mission.

8. Product Exclusions

CTEI may exclude specific courses, bundles, or future offerings from affiliate commissions. Thinkific allows product‑level exclusions, and these may be updated at any time.

9. Program Changes

CTEI reserves the right to modify: Commission rates, Payout schedules, Eligible products, Program terms and conditions. Changes to the CTEI Affiliate Program will be posted on the CTEI Affiliate Program Policy page and take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.

10. Removal from the Program

CTEI may remove affiliates for: Policy violations, Fraudulent activity, Inactivity for more than 12 months, Behavior inconsistent with CTEI’s professional standards. Removed affiliates forfeit any unpaid commissions.
